Black Sesame Matcha Latte

Creamy Black Sesame Matcha Latte made with soy milk, earthy matcha, and rich sesame paste. Layered, nutty, and naturally sweetened to your taste.

Ingredients

2 tbsp black sesame paste (unsweetened or sweetened)
Sweetener of choice (maple syrup, honey, or simple syrup (optional, to taste)
1 cup soy milk (or any milk of choice)
1–2 tsp matcha powder
4 tbsp hot water
Ice

Instructions

1. Prepare the black sesame base:
In a small bowl, combine the black sesame paste with 4 tablespoons of hot water. Stir until smooth and well blended. Add sweetener to taste if the paste isn’t pre-sweetened.

2. Make the matcha:
In a separate bowl, sift the matcha powder to avoid clumps. Add a small amount of hot (but not boiling) water — about 2–3 tablespoons — and whisk until frothy and smooth.

3. Assemble the latte:
Add the black sesame mixture to a serving glass. Fill the glass with ice. Pour over the soy milk, then gently top with the prepared matcha for a layered effect.
